In 2009, we started in true classic fashion from an attic room in Maassluis. As Apple users ourselves, there was no place dedicated solely to Apple accessories while also offering beautiful brands and quality products. That was the origin of Appelhoes.
Following our launch and the introduction of the iPhone in 2007 and the iPad in 2009, Apple's popularity continued to grow rapidly. In 2012, we moved into our first real business premises, followed by a second location in 2016. When those locations also became too small, we moved into an even larger facility in 2020 and expanded with an additional building in 2021.
From our location in Maassluis, we ship your orders and operate our office. We consciously choose not to work with dropshipping or external fulfilment partners, relying instead on our own purchasing, inventory and shipping processes. Everything we have in stock is shipped directly by us.
What has not changed after all these years and hundreds of thousands of mostly loyal customers is this: we remain fully focused on Apple, offering high-quality products that protect your devices or make using your Apple products even easier.
